Is it safe to apply heat directly to my eyelids?

Yes - with one important distinction. The risk in heated eye products is not the heat itself. It is the pressure. Full-face heated masks apply direct weight to the closed eyelid and, by extension, the surface of the eye. TheraBlink's wand contacts only the orbital rim - the bony edge surrounding the eye socket - not the surface of the eyeball. Heat is delivered to the lid margin where your meibomian gland openings are located, without any compressive force on the eye itself.

How is this different from the heated masks I've already tried?

A heated mask and the TheraBlink wand both deliver sustained heat above 40°C. That is where the similarity ends. A heated mask puts its full weight onto your closed eyelid - compressing your cornea and pushing melted oil sideways instead of out through the gland opening. TheraBlink's wand delivers the same sustained heat without touching your eyeball. The massage function guides a gentle upward sweep - the directed expression motion that physically moves the liquefied oil out through the gland orifice. The heat liquefies it. I've been doing warm compresses for years. Why would this work?

Warm compresses fail for a specific mechanical reason: they cool below 40°C in 2-3 minutes. Clearing hardened meibum requires sustained heat above that threshold for a minimum of 10 minutes. A compress that cools in 3 minutes never reaches the duration required to do anything clinically meaningful to the blockage inside the gland.

Do I need all three steps, or can I just use the wand?

You can use the wand alone and it will address the physical blockage inside the gland. But if the gland opening is capped with surface debris, the heat works against a surface obstruction before reaching the blockage beneath it. And if bacterial biofilm and Demodex colonies remain on the lid margin, they continue contributing to re-blockage between sessions. Using the wand alone is addressing one layer of a three-layer problem. It helps. It does not solve it completely.

Are the ingredients safe?

What exactly is the 60-Day Guarantee?

You have 60 days from purchase to try the TheraBlink Dry Eye Rescue Kit. If the wand stops working, or the protocol simply doesn't deliver results for you - contact us for a full refund. You do not need to send it back in original packaging. We honour this unconditionally.

How do I initiate a return or refund?

Email us at hello@therablink.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Our team will respond within 1 business day and issue your refund or send a replacement, whichever you prefer. No lengthy forms. No restocking fees.

Do I need to return the kit to get a refund?

In most cases, no. Because we stand behind the product so firmly, we don't want to put the hassle of shipping on you. We may ask for a photo if the issue is product-related. Only in certain cases will we need you to return the kit - and in those situations, return shipping charges back to our warehouse are the customer's responsibility.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Once your return is approved, please allow some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 days have passed since we approved your return and you haven't received it, please contact us at hello@therablink.com.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
